"Ok that's me on the lower right. In one of my favorite places
of all time...New York City. Behind me are some of the very fun photo shoots I have worked on as a freelance Stylist
or Producer and on rare occasion writer. On each of these projects I have been very fortunate to work with very intriguing,
super-talented and highly creative folks from different parts of the world. Each more interesting than the next. A
very well-traveled group keeps life inspired and fresh...often these folks have just come from photo assignments
with very well known creative teams such as J.Crew, Pottery Barn, Ralph Lauren, Martha Stewart Living Magazine,
& Vogue. And although it's always nice to come
home...I do love the travel!" Deborah Hernandez is the former Vice President of
Corporate Development for Tracy Porter Inc. In addition to her freelance projects, her career background also includes working with other dynamic
companies such as Lands' End, The Limited Corporation, Aveda, Crate and Barrel, David and Lee and Arlene Wilson Model
Management.
Deborah
currently and happily spends the majority
of her time living life to the fullest in fun, creative, and healthy pursuits with family and friends. Personal time
included working with children in a mentoring capacity. An interest in volunteering was inspired by her love of
all the amazing children in her life, her parents and the generous, spirited endeavors of incredible individuals and
many family members interested in making a difference. Endeavors such as Oprah Winfrey's Leadership Academy,
Jamie Gertz's Painted Turtle Camp, Newman's Own, Ben & Jerry's, Smith and Hawken, Tom's of Maine inspired
Hernandez to turn her family home into a retreat with the spirit of giving back to kids in the local Wisconsin community.
The retreat project led to her current local community involvement with the A+ After-School
Program. As much as possible you may
find her traveling, riding a horse, playing in the garden, hiking the trails or with her nose in a book.
