Why not allow your love of books to inspire some simple changes at home? Try assembling books by color on a shelf as a clever friend did here.
Another idea is to simply choose books based on the colors of the room's walls for a more monochromatic look.
For rooms without book shelves - a stack of books on a bedside table or dresser is another solution.
